Freddy is the one the restaurant is named after, and the one who takes the longest to do anything. On night 1 he does not move at all. By night 3 he is already off the stage, and by night 5 he is the reason most runs end - not because he is fast, but because he arrives at the exact moment you stop having power.
How Freddy actually behaves
- He only moves while the cameras are down, or while the room he is in is dark
- Keeping the monitor up freezes him - which is also what drains your battery
- He never uses the left door. If Freddy reaches you, it is from the right
- His laugh plays after he has already moved, not before
- Once your power hits zero, he appears in the doorway, plays the music box tune, and takes his time
The trick most players miss
Freddy is the only one you cannot see coming with the hall light. He does not stand in the corridor waiting - he is in the East Hall Corner one moment and in the office the next.
