Chica
  • Species: Yellow chicken, "LET'S EAT!!!" bib, orange feet
  • First seen: Five Nights at Freddy's, 2014
  • Carries: a cupcake with eyes, which sits on your desk when she is out
  • Comes from: the East Hall, right-hand door
  • Tell: pots and pans in the kitchen - the camera there gives audio only
Chica is the mirror image of Bonnie: same job, opposite side of the building. What makes her different is the kitchen. Camera 6 has no picture at all, only sound, and when Chica is in there you get a clatter of dishes instead of a video feed. That is deliberate, and it is the closest the first game comes to teaching you to play by ear.

Chica's route

  • Show Stage, then the Dining Area
  • The Kitchen, where you can only hear her
  • East Hall, East Hall Corner, then the right doorway
  • She shares the right door with Freddy, so late nights get crowded on that side
  • The cupcake moving to your desk means she is out of the stage

What to do about her

The right hall light is the answer, and it is cheap in short taps. The mistake is leaving the kitchen camera up to listen - it costs the same power as any other camera and tells you nothing you cannot get from the light two seconds later.

Other versions

  • Toy Chica - drops her beak and her eyes the moment she leaves the stage
  • Withered Chica - arms locked wide open, jaw broken
  • Phantom Chica - appears inside the arcade cabinet on the cameras
  • Nightmare Chica - right door, with the cupcake now a separate threat
  • Glamrock Chica - the rock-star version, and a very hungry one

Where you meet Chica

  • FNAF 1 — the right door and the silent kitchen camera
  • FNAF 2 — Toy Chica through the vents, withered Chica through the hall
  • FNAF 4 — Nightmare Chica, plus a cupcake that is no longer decoration
  • Security Breach: Ruin — the Glamrock version, long after the lights went out)

Chica - quick answers

Why does the kitchen camera not work?

It never has. Camera 6 gives sound only, and the banging you hear is Chica moving around in there.

What is the cupcake for?

In FNAF 1 it is a marker - it appears on the desk when Chica has left the stage. In FNAF 4 it becomes a real threat of its own.

Which door is Chica's?

The right one, same as Freddy. On nights 4 and 5 both of them can be on that side at once.
