What happens in Ruin

The Five Nights at Freddy's horror game has a lot of additions. One of them is Security Breach Ruin, which is significantly different from the first game. Here the player will have to walk through the ruins of the previously known pizzeria, and most importantly - to get out of there alive.

How to play FNAF Security Breach Ruin

Looking for her best friend Gregory, a girl named Cassie comes to the Pizzaplex, where she will have to go into the darkest corners of the building. Her main allies are:

The Faz-Wrench. This tool used to belong to the technicians of the Pizzaplex, but now it will help Cassie find her friend. It is an orange device with a plug - it can be inserted into connectors on other appliances.
Roxy's walkie-talkie. This is a radio shaped like the purple wolf Roxanne, with an antenna and a speaker on the body. There is a matching Freddy walkie-talkie that Gregory left behind.
The VANNI mask. This item will help solve some puzzles. But when to take it off or put it on, Cassie has to work out on her own.

The game begins with the fact that Gregory sends a message to his friend with a request to come to the ruins of the Pizzaplex. But the girl does not find him there, and instead hears a call for help - allegedly something grabbed her friend and carried him away under the Roxy Raceway attraction.

Cassie's adventure begins with the foyer, where she meets different monsters and will confront them. Saving her friend, the girl herself will be in danger many times, but how the game will end depends only on you.

What Ruin does differently

No stage lights, no crowds - the whole Pizzaplex is dark and mostly collapsed
The VANNI mask shows a second, digital version of every room
Take the mask off and the puzzle disappears; leave it on and you cannot see what is walking towards you
The Glamrocks you knew from Security Breach are all broken now, and not friendly
Sound matters more than sight for most of the run

Ruin sits at the very end of the timeline, so it lands differently if you have already played the older games - the original Five Nights at Freddy's is where the pizzeria still had a working stage and only four animatronics. The full list of parts and spin-offs is on the FNAF games page.
