How to play Friday Night Funkin' vs Freddy

The task is to get out of the pizzeria where the animatronics wake up at night, and the only way out is winning the musical battle. The round features Freddy Fazbear on one side and Boyfriend with his girlfriend on the other.

To leave alive you play through several rounds of songs, pressing the arrows in time. Get it wrong and it ends badly - Freddy gets to Boyfriend and Girlfriend. You do get an unlimited number of attempts, which is more than the horror games offer.

Want to help Boyfriend win? Then work on rhythm and reaction speed. Anyone who follows what is on screen can do this. Concentrate on the arrows and keep your hands moving.

Small things that help

• Set your hands on the arrow keys before the countdown, not during it
• The health bar recovers on hits, so a clean stretch undoes an early mistake
• Freddy's chart speeds up in the last third - save your concentration for it
